Aftercare Instructions

Leave the second-skin film on for 3–5 days unless it leaks, lifts at the edges, or you notice signs of infection — then remove it and switch to open-air aftercare.

Once healing begins, apply a thin layer of fragrance-free, alcohol-free moisturizer 2–3 times a day. A little goes a long way — the tattoo should look moist, not greasy.

Avoid swimming, soaking (baths, hot tubs), long showers directly on the area, direct sun, and tight or rough clothing over the tattoo for at least 2 weeks.

Because this tattoo is on your forearm, pay extra attention to friction from clothing, straps, or repetitive movement in that area while it heals.

Do not pick or scratch at peeling or flaking skin — let it come off on its own.

Surface healing typically takes 2–4 weeks; the skin underneath continues healing for up to 3 months.

Contact your artist or a doctor if you notice spreading redness, warmth, swelling, fever, or pus — these can be signs of infection.
