Why prices vary so much
- Size, placement, level of detail, and color all change how long a piece takes — and time is what you're mostly paying for.
- An artist's experience and demand matter too — a highly sought-after artist's calendar being full is itself part of what you're paying for.
What's usually included
- A quote should cover the full session(s), materials, and aftercare guidance — ask upfront if touch-ups are included or separately priced.
- Most studios require a non-refundable deposit to hold your appointment, credited toward the final price.
Don't shop on price alone
- A cheaper quote from an unfamiliar artist isn't a discount if the healed result, hygiene standards, or overall experience suffer for it.
